So today I am joined by good friend of the panel and returning guest Dan Berger.

Dan is a professor of comparative ethnic studies at the University of Washington at

Bothel and author of Stayed on Freedom, the long history of

black power through one family's journey. So I've asked Dan on today to talk about a piece

that he wrote about how RICO charges, like the ones recently levied against Stop Cop City,

have a long history of being used against left-wing movements and radicals. The piece is called
