Hello, welcome back to Sociology 101.

0:02.7

On our last episode, we looked at an interview with Dr. John Piper and Rick Warren over their

0:08.5

sociological differences, or their supposed differences, because obviously because of the

0:12.9

conciliatory nature of the conversation, I think Rick Warren likes to be agreeable and likes

0:19.6

to be conciliatory in his responses and therefore it tends to

0:24.8

kind of muddle the waters as far as the distinctions. And I'm not, as I explained last time,

0:31.2

I'm not trying to be divisive by pointing out the clarity of the perspective. I'm simply

0:36.1

pointing out the clarity of the perspective. And being

0:38.8

1:21.4

so that they will certainly believe, and he pre-chuses who those people will be before the

1:26.0

foundation of the world.

1:31.8

Now, is that what Rick Warren means when he affirms unconditional election?

1:37.9

Well, we don't know because there's not really a lot of clarity given in this back and forth, though he does seem to affirm what John Piper says, and maybe that's really what he means,

1:42.3

and he's just not real clear about it.

1:44.5

But what you'll notice here is, I think Rick Warren, though well-intending, he just

1:51.4

affirms a contradiction.

1:56.5

He just simply says A equals not A, and because of my limited understanding I can say a
