Before jumping into the content for today, I want to make a correction from a previous podcast. Apparently in a previous podcast, I said that Trump's new Secretary of Transportation was a homosexual, and that is not the case.

He's a heterosexual with nine kids, married with nine kids.

That's Secretary Duffy.

I misspoke because I was referring to Treasury. You can see how it happened, two T's,

you know, transportation and treasury. I'm, I was referring to Bessent. So don't anybody go out

into the world thinking ill thoughts of Secretary Duffy. I wasn't referring to him or I was

referring to him, but I shouldn't have been.

So I stand corrected and I apologize to our heterosexual secretary of transportation.

That said, let's get into what I want to talk about today.

Rick Warren recently tweeted something, which he has since deleted and he has since said that he shouldn't have, he, he has since said that he spoke poorly, which is true enough.

But I still wanted to comment on it.

Let him correct the record.

Let him say, yeah, that was bad.

But I want to, it stirred some things up.

PG Woodhouse once said that some mines are like the soup in a bad

restaurant. They're better left unstirred. So keying off of what Rick Warren initially tweeted,

he took the two thieves crucified on either side of the Lord as a metaphor for, you know,

right-wing extremism and left-wing extremism. And then Jesus was the middle of the road

moderate because his cross was in the middle. And the thing I want to point out about this, and it's something that

everybody misses and not just Rick Warren, the image is not Jesus having a conversation with two

thieves walking down the road, as he did with his disciples on the road to Amas. It's not Jesus walking on the

yellow line, and a right-wing extremist on one side of him and a left-wing extremist on the other.
