Uh, Rick, welcome to the podcast. Thanks so much, I appreciate it, Ryan. Yeah,

you know, look, yesterday House Democrats voted to approve the rules for the impeachment

proceedings of Donald Trump. Republicans have been complaining about transparency.

Well, they just got what they asked for.

Televised impeachment hearings.

I actually don't think Trump and the Republicans understand the magnitude of the moment. Witness after witness has confirmed that there was a quid pro quo,

and now the American people will hear their testimony soon

in these televised impeachment hearings.

You know, I think Democrats have handled this map. in these televised impeachment hearings.

You know, I think Democrats have handled this masterfully,

while Republicans still really don't have a solid defense.

How do you see this playing out, Rick,

because, look, public support for impeachment is already over 50% and

I just see this number getting even higher as as people start to watch the

hearings now. I hope you're right but I see the defense is pretty simple it's all it's been what they've always been their defenses

yes so what that's but that's gonna be their defense yes we did it but you know what we're we're tough we're

unconventional we're you know we're braising we're gonna we're shaking things up
