Yeah, I'm so excited to have you on the podcast today, because it comes on the heels of Black

Woman 4, a group of over 100 influential Black woman and gender non-conformingist to endorse Elizabeth Warren for President.

You're on the steering committee of Black Woman for Warren.

So how did all of these well-known organizers, writers, artists, educators, political strategists, come together to back Elizabeth

Warren.

Wow!

I mean, that's a wild, it's a wild ride. It's a that's a wild it's a wild ride it's a very interesting

experience and I'll just back up a little bit for many of us you know coming

from particular political spaces and ideologies and

myself I was a big Bernie supporter in 2016 and coming into this cycle I actually

wasn't like I've liked Senator Warren you know I

you know she's been on the right side of issues before a lot of folks

particularly in this post-2016 era where there's so much that has come to the surface that needs to be dealt

with beyond just getting the orange dude out of office.
