My name is Jeff Buck, and I'm welcome to my co-worker Jordan Bianchi.

We are writers for the athletic, and we are back together on the podcast after a month away.

Jordan, I missed you while I was on parental leave, but you did a fantastic job with some great fill-in hosts.

You really kept things moving. I didn't really see anybody tweeting me at all saying,

oh, we really miss you, you know, come back to the tear down. I didn't see anything. So I was actually

the complete opposite. I don't think so. I don't think so. Unless you got some tweets. I didn't

know. I'm saying it's like it was actually really positive feedback and I did anybody. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. It was super positive. I thought, you know, I listened to it each week and I was, you know, I was like, how's, how's this going to go? You know, because I'm like telling myself, well, I know how to do this podcast.

I've been doing this podcast for a while.

This used to be the untitled Jeff Gluck podcast, blah, blah, blah.

And I'm like, oh, wow, you know, Jordan just picked right up.

And there was no hiccups.

And I was like, maybe I should just take some more leave or never come back.

I'm a professional, Jeff.

That's what we do here. We just step right in. It's seamless. I am glad you're back.

It's fun.

And we got a lot to talk about.

You know what?

You picked a great day to come back, too, because we had three big races today.

And, again, lots to talk about in a very busy racing calendar.

Well, at first I was like, oh, gosh, what are we going to talk about when? Because for a lot of, much of the Richmond race, I was like, man, I should have waited one more week to Talladega.

Because, you know, I was like, this is not, I was thinking this is going to be like a record low
