In the far frozen north, in the harsh, vast soil of the frozen fjords, power was etched

into stone.

This power was gifted from the gods and goddesses to the people to help them communicate to

cast spells, divine the future, and memorialise their lives.

It came in the form of Roons.

Roons are lines carved on rock, bone, metal or wood, to convey meaning and energy.

These ancient sigils, mystic symbols are found carved into primal rocks, all over Scandinavia,

and they extend their reach down to the Mediterranean to France, Britain and even according to some

Canada.

The earliest ruins, the elder Firtha, were used 1700 years ago and were a series of 24

of these symbols associated with sounds like our alphabet.

They were primarily an alphabet and were used to record the deeds of the brave and the noble,

or document who owned a sword or a piece of land.

They gave names, deeds and dates, there was even a Roonick calendar on a piece of bone
