So it's Thursday morning.

Perhaps it might be as specific as mindfulness, might be something much broader than that.

But my guess is, probably there's a desire and intention to be more present in the world

and I feel like mindfulness is often really misunderstood.

So I feel like it's often presented as a slowing down in life.

And whilst it can be seen in that way and whilst it can be trained in that way, that's certainly

not what it's about.

It's really about being with one thing.

In some monasteries, there's even sort of a particular focus and philosophy around this

So in Zen monasteries, for example, there's this idea of when you walk, just walk, when

And when you think about it, it's very rare in our multi-tasking lives that we do simply

When we're walking along, we normally either think about something or we're scrolling on

our phone, when we're eating, we might be reading at the same time.

It's actually really unusual thing to do just one thing at a time.

moving very, very slowly and definitely.
