Jesse David Fox. So usually each episode of community picked one of their jokes to play and discuss.

But this one will be a little bit different. See, view things get me as excited to interview

a person than when there are two recorded versions of the same joke, where you can clearly see how the

comedian evolved in between.

In this episode we have an extraordinary example of this from our guest, Stand Up comedian,

host of the Three Swings Podcast, as well as the co-creator and co-star of Take My Wife,

Bria Butcher.

You'll hear both jokes during the interview so I won't get too much into them now.

But the core of both is an experience of being misgendered. The first version of a joke came out on Ria's 2016 album Butcher, and the second was recorded a little over a year later in late 2017 before airing in early 2018 as part of one of the two Dope Queens HBO specials.

Even talking to Ria, it's clearly amazing to them to see just how much change in such a short amount of time both in terms of craft and personally.
