who's truly an expert when it comes to the metaverse, and all of the, you know, buzz

that's been around the new way of shopping right now, especially in the beauty industry

and the way that we shop as consumers online, and so I can't wait to chat with her and learn

from her, and also just learn about this amazing new technology that everyone is getting on

board for. So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Neha Singh, who is the founder

and CEO of Obsess. Welcome to Show Neha, I'm so honored to host you. Thank you so much,

I'm so excited to be here, thanks so much for having me. Yeah, no, it's my, it's my pleasure,

and I'm really excited to learn from you actually, and, and understand what is the metaverse,

and you know, what are you guys doing at Obsess that is just changing the game, because I know you're

working with a lot of really, really great brands, and I can't wait to learn all about that,

but I would love to start with you, Neha, and your background, and how everything began,

and how you created Obsess if you could walk us down memory lane. Yeah, of course. So my background

before studying Obsess is in engineering and fashion, so I'm a computer scientist by training,

I got my graduate degree in computer science from MIT, and then I was a software engineer

and tech lead at Google for five years. I worked there on Google AdWords and on Google News

products, but basically while I was there, I thought I wanted to be a fashion designer, because I

love fashion, so I started taking fashion design classes on the side at FIT here in New York,

and it was fun, but I realized after a couple of semesters that I'm really bad at drawing,

so that I decided to stick to the tech side of fashion and join the startup that was a luxury

e-commerce company, and I led engineering and product there for two years, but I was one of the

early employees, and one of my first tasks was to build the e-commerce website for this company,
