He is the James S. McDonald Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of African

American Studies at Princeton University. He currently serves as president of the American Academy of

Religion so we can get into that. He has authored many books, the most recent of which we're going to

talk about today. Just released, begin again, James Baldwin's America and its urgent lessons for

our own is currently on the New York Times bestseller list. My brother and I can say this honestly
