To help us better understand, JP interviews Dr. Steve Seamands, who was at Asbury during the 1970 Asbury Revival, as well the beginning of what was happening at Asbury at the time of this sermon.

0:00.0	Church, good morning. How are we doing? Hey, I'm glad you're here. I love hearing you guys talk and
0:05.3	mingle and connect and whatnot. We're going to do something a little bit different today. I'm going to
0:10.7	bring out a friend here in a minute and we're going to talk about revival. And the reason we're
0:17.9	talking about that is because there's something unique happening in our country
0:21.1	right now. And if you are completely in the dark on that, that's okay. You're in the right place.
0:25.2	That is why we're having this discussion this morning to bring you up to speed. And so I'll tell you
0:32.0	a little bit about my week. And so it's been a really full week. and this season has been full because I have a book that
0:40.5	releases mid-March and so I'm a thank you I'm a pastor and an author and and so that can bifurcate
0:48.2	my life at times where you know when when those things happen I have to go out and meet with publishers
0:53.5	and have conversations and meet with publishers and have
0:54.6	conversations and do podcasts and speak at different places. And so this past week has been one of
1:00.5	those weeks where Freddie and I, Freddie leads worship here, also you guys know him. And so he and I
1:05.6	jump on a plane. We go to Atlanta. From Atlanta, we go to Athens, speak in Athens, from Athens, we go to Nashville,
1:13.5	have some meetings in Nashville, do a podcast, which Freddie says, hey, we should go to Asbury.
1:20.2	And so Asbury University in Kentucky, just south of Lexington, there's a revival, at least
1:26.6	that's what it's called right now in the news and on social media, there's a revival. At least that's what it's called right now in the news
1:28.9	and on social media. There's a revival happening at that university. And so he says, hey, we should,
1:36.1	we should go. I looked it up. It's only, you know, three hours away. Now let me just push pause right there
1:41.3	and back up. We have a young staff. And so last week,
1:46.2	you know, when I did Friday Q&A over a week ago, I got some questions on this. Hey, have you
1:50.8	heard what's happening at Asbury University? Have you seen what's happening at Asbury University?
1:55.0	And the answer to the question is, no, I had not. And so I googled and checked social media.
