Good morning, Church family.

You're going to make me cry.

My name is Brian Eaton, and my wife Holly and I serve as home group leaders and new leader mentors.

And as of January 7th, I came on staff to serve you as a home group's minister.

Thank you. Yes. I'm very excited to get to know you all in that capacity and to tell you about the story of

God's grace in my life that brought me to this place.

So I'd love to meet you out in the foyer by the home group's table after the service to set

up a coffee date so I can talk to you about that.

Our scripture this morning comes from 2nd Kings chapter 22, verses 10 through 13.

Then Schaeffen, the secretary, told the king, Hulkaya the priest has given me a book,

and Shafin read it before the king. And when the king heard the words of the book of the law,

he tore his clothes. And the king commanded

he'll Kiya the priest and Heikum the son of Shefhan and Akbor the son of Makaya and Schaefer and the

secretary and Isaiah the king's servant saying, go inquire of the Lord for me and for the people

and for all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is and for the people and for all Judah concerning the words of this book that

has been found. For great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us because our fathers

have not obeyed the words of this book to do according to all that is written concerning us.

This is the word of the Lord.
