I hope you all had an excellent All-Star break.

And what we're going to do today is an annual tradition.

Go back and look at the trades that took place during the 23, 24 season.

We'll actually go back a little bit further than we normally did.

Usually we just look at the deadline, but there's the big hardened trade that took place during the season.

Seacum, Ogen, O.GN. Ovi, most of the big stuff actually happened before the deadline,

although there's lots of interesting stuff at the deadline as well.

So I'll leave it to you, John. As you look at this list, what is the trade that you feel most

differently or a series of moves, maybe a team's overall moves, that you feel most differently, or a series of moves, maybe a team's overall moves, that you feel

most differently about now than you did at the time? On multiple levels, the Gordon Hayward trade

between Oklahoma City and Charlotte. What did you think at the time? Well, what I wrote at the time,

I thought Hayward would actually help them, which proved to be pretty savagely not the case.

But the other thing about it was that this was a stealth salary dump, which I did write at the time.

And it was big time to get off the money they owed man and Bertans and Mietch.

And to recognize pretty quickly that they had made a mistake with Mietch and to get off

it right away, I think was pretty critical because that opened the door for them to have

enough cap room to sign Hardinstein this summer.

Yeah.

Now, obviously they could have just done that this offseason.

They have assets coming out the wazoo.

So they could have done it.
