We'll start by looking back at the winner Chelsea and we'll also look forward to the League

Cup game against Darby on Tuesday.

But James, you were down there at Chelsea on Friday.

I mean, it's been a few days now, but the field of factors still going for

Yogan Clop and his players.

Certainly is, yeah, it was just a hugely satisfying night all around and a great way to kick off Friday Night football.

Liverpool were able to bask in the glory of that result all over the weekend and enjoy some of their rivals slipping up along the way.

Yeah, just hugely impressive really I think two sides of the performance wasn't there.

There was the first half where they just absolutely flew out the traps and dominated Chelsea in all departments,

first to everything, one battles all over the field, completely outclassed them, made them look

very pedestrian, created a decent number of chances, scored two decent goals and

you know that didn't flatter them and then inevitably Chelsea were, you know, they had to

improve in the second half and they did

but I think just as satisfying as the fluency in the first half was the way

Liverpool dug in when the backs re-entered the wall and they were wobbling a bit

at one stage but ultimately they saw

it out with something to spare and you know I think that probably would have really delighted
