I made a choice about how to handle this.

I'm not sure it was the right choice and it's one of the things I'd love to talk to you about,

which is, you know, kind of the broader question of,

when do you let your kid quit something?

So when I think about this topic of quitting,

of stopping something after you've started it,

so many things come to mind.

I think about sports, I think about certain activities,

I think about friendships,

and recently I was talking with a parent

who brought to me their child's sleep away camp struggles.

Dear mommy and daddy, I hate it here.

I've not made any friends, but I've tried.
