All right, today Cody and I are back to review the news and turns out there's a lot of it.

Now, Cody and I recorded our conversation on Friday afternoon prior to the women's Alpine

Downhill, which happens Sunday, of course, and I just wanted to say a couple things about

the women's alpine downhill.

First, congratulations to Breezy Johnson on a phenomenal performance.

There is so much about her story that made her gold medal win truly amazing, and yeah, I don't know about you,

but I was shedding tears as she talked about

her dad and how much that win means to her. So, congratulations, Breezy. Second, Lindsay's crash.

I hate that this happened, but mostly I think that what we are all going to remember

is that this badass woman was ready and willing to get in the start gates. When she was in the

gates, she looked fierce as hell, she looked focused and absolutely fearless, and I'm recording this introduction shortly after the race, so I don't yet have any new information on how she's doing.

But above all else, I truly think that this just represents another incredible chapter and story in a life that has had too many to count

at this point. So, Lindsay, thank you for yet another incredibly inspiring effort, and

we hope you heal up well. And finally, to all the women who raced on Sunday in the downhill, I truly

thought the entire field was incredibly inspiring. That course is gnarly and watching racer

after racer attack it the way that literally every single racer did, watching Brignoni and Gogia and literally all of

them. I think the world got to see high-level downhill ski racing at its best, and that means

complete with all the highs and the lows. To that entire field, unbelievable job, incredible skiing, and it was truly
