I am not Jonathan Ellsworth because Jonathan is currently skiing in Iceland. Instead,

today you've got me, Luke Kappa. I'm the managing editor at Blister, which means

they do a lot of different things, including this week, filling in for Jonathan while he gets

to go ski pow down to the ocean, probably see the northern lights, and swim with narwhals or something,

where we catch up with our reviewers to hear about some of the latest gear they've been testing.

Today, we've got a wide-ranging conversation with Kristen Sinnott, Dylan Wood,

Kara Williard, Drew Kelly, and myself,

where we cover everything from the not-so-light setups that Drew used while he was touring

for several weeks at Alaska this spring to a whole bunch of skis and bindings

that all of us have been using this spring in both the backcountry and the resort. We also touch

on some new outerwear with an obligatory anirac inclusion since Jonathan is gone and he can't

yell at me for it, at least right now, as well as an update from Kara on some heated

socks she's been using, and even some unique gear and devious tricks that Kristen has been
