hey i want to tell you guys a story uh is my audio how's my audio voice sounds high i'm like i've lost some

maybe i'm just uh as i get, my testosterone levels are going down.

I want to tell you guys a story.

It's a story about an elephant.

An elephant and a woman.

I was, um,

I was in this village in Kenya.

And, I was in this village in Kenya.

And I was making a documentary on this old man and his family. He was a 92 year old man and he had three three like small yurts on his property that were made of mud and thatch

and uh he had five uh five grandchildren living with them um all uh from different fathers

one of his daughters birthed these five kids and then died of AIDS and so he was raising

his grandkids.

And the village, the village didn't have any human objects. When we pulled up in the car on the dirt road,

all the kids were looking in the side of the, in the paint of the car seeing their reflection.

Like they couldn't believe they were looking

at their own reflection they were blown away they just all sat and looked at the side of the door

and then i hung out there for two weeks with those people they didn't speak any english it was a trip

and the oldest child was 12 and the youngest child was two uh same mother five different fathers mom died of

AIDS and one day I was walking on this real narrow single track trail I was out with the kids

and I was filming with them and uh we had a translator with us that day and there was this big pile of trees right in the middle of the single track.

And I said, hey, what happened here?
