Today we come to chapter 12 and 13, and we deal with an individual known as the Antichrist.

Turn with me, please, Chapter 12, Book of Revelation, the beginning in verse 1.

John calls this Antichrist, he called him the beast.

But we also meet other symbolic figures,

multi-headed dragon and all of that stuff,

and I'm going to demystify it by the power and the grace of God very soon.

The question is, what lessons do we learn today from the Book of Revelation?

That's why I'm calling this Revelation for today, this whole series,

because the Book of Revelation has happened, is happening,

and will happen. Just like the kingdom of God has come, is now, and will come.

And so the whole teaching of the scripture, salvation happened, is happening, will happen.

And keep that in mind as we look all through these lessons. How do you

apply them in our lives today? And here in chapter 12, we meet a woman closed with the sun and the moon

at her feet, and her head is crowned with 12 stars. Now, many of you remember Joseph's dream,

the one that got him into trouble with his brothers.

And his dream was very simply that his father, Jacob, was the son, and his mother, Rachel, was the moon,

and then the 12 brothers, the tribes of Israel, the stars, and they're all bowing to him because Joseph is the type of Christ.

The woman here is no other than Israel, who later became the new

Israel of God, according to Galatians 616. The church is the new Israel of God. The church is

the elect of God from every tribe and every nation and every corner of the globe. But it's something I want you to keep in mind as I go through this message.
