So I want to talk to us today in this series on returning to God about returning to Him through Scripture.

Through the truth of the Bible.

Paul puts it this way in 2 Timothy 3.

He says beginning in verse 13, evil men and imposter are going to proceed from bad to worse.

Deceiving and being deceived.

But you continue in the things you have learned to become convinced of knowing from whom you have learned them and that from a childhood.

Which is why you need to make sure your children know the Word of God from childhood you have known the sacred writings, the Scriptures.

Which were able to give you wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Jesus Christ.

As a child you were introduced to the Bible so that you can make better decisions in your life.

Why? Why make a big deal about the Bible? About Scripture.

He tells us in verse 16, all Scripture is inspired by God.
