And yes, that's right, we are here to celebrate the 35th anniversary of one of the most influential

movies upon video games of all time.

That is James Cameron's Aliens.

We've talked about Alien in the past, but now there are two of them.

Actually, I think there are more than two of them.

We'll have to see.

We'll discuss the story of this film.

But we are going to talk about the movie, about the circumstances of its creation, and

most of all, the prodigious impact that it has had upon the video game medium.

You know, I tried to do a Star Wars episode many years ago now where I was like, wow,

Star Wars is so influential on video games, and then everyone came into the podcast and

was like, oh, we can't actually think of anything that was inspired by Star Wars.

So I felt really stupid about that.

That is not going to happen this time.

And to guarantee this, we have made notes.
