Now I've actually changed what I say as my biggest fear. It's not a relevance or extinction.

It's actually that we will get in the way of what God's people, what they're trying to do.

And it's happening in the US. I see it. There's books being written. There's a doubling down on this idea that we know what a healthy church looks like.

And we are not going to fund anything that doesn't look like our idea of a healthy church.

We're not hiding our identity. This is not any other social work. These are kingdom people who are engaged in the lives of people.

So we are working with a different paradigm. We are not at war with Hinduism or anybody else.

And Joseph just asked me to read a few words from his introductory remarks for that conference to frame today's discussion.

So Joseph said this, one of the reasons why we have struggled to engage with our complex world is because of the understanding of the gospel that we've been raised with and exposed to. Some of us have termed this as a gospel reductionism, but just one or two aspects of the gospel of the Kingdom of God have been prioritised and emphasised at the expense of critical and central aspects of the Kingdom of God inaugurated by our Lord.
