But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it is conceived gives birth to sin.

And when sin is fully grown, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the father of lights

with him there's no variation or shadow

due to change of his own will. He brought us forth by the Word of Truth that we should be a kind

of first fruits of his creatures. Let me pray for us. Father, thank you for a few minutes around

your word. I pray you'd help us. Understand it, God. Help us see what it is you care about. And then Lord, I pray you'd help us understand it God help us see what it is you care

about and then Lord I pray you would help us care about what you care about so

I'm asking you to open our our minds and then I'm asking you to shift our hearts

tonight because I want our lives to be different I want us to be different as a

result of this night and I can't produce that,

but you can. And I just want to invite all of you, whether this is your normal thing or you

have never done it. If you're willing, you just take a moment and you talk to God and ask him,

say, Lord, please teach me tonight.

And then if you would, please pray for me that the Lord would use me and I would be helpful to you.

Well, Father, we love you and we trust you.
