Hi friends, this is the point in which I normally say welcome to another episode of that

sounds fun.

Now I am your host, Annie F. Downs, but this isn't a typical episode of the that sounds fun

podcast.

Let me tell you why.

You'll hear me say all the time how proud I am of our teams here at Downs Books and

the that sounds fun network.

We work really hard to bring y'all inspiring podcasts on the network to bridge you to friends

whose work like their writing or music is going to encourage you or be meaningful to you.

And to write books and create products that will ultimately add value and fun to your life.

Working hard really matters to us.

We believe God has given us this work to do and we want to stew it really well.

And that's why it's the first of the statements on our wall.

You know, these four values hang on our walls and guide how we make our decisions.

Work hard, play hard, rest hard, pray hard.

So for the next couple of weeks, our team is taking some much needed time off.

We've been working really hard leading up to these weeks so that we can keep bringing

all of our friends here, the awesome conversations that we love sharing with you and so that we're

prepared to be off off.

But we also wanted to invite you to take a little break in a moment of quiet to rest

too.
