I think it's hilarious that we both came from very much colder places, wetter places than this,

and we tried to go out to record in the yard this morning and we're like, it's kind of cold out

here. Maybe we should go record on the couch. So we've moved inside to the safety and security of this very plush

couch outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, our couch, our lap pillows fully in place here as we bring

the trail news to trail fans around the world. Of course, it is almost Black Canyon weekend.

I mean, ostensibly, it's Black Canyon weekend.

The season is officially kicking off here.

Corinna and I are going to be working hard to sort of bring the story of this year's Black

Canyon Ultras to the general public over the next few days.

We'll get to that in a little bit.

The purposes of today's show is to talk about some other news that's happening in the

sport.

So quick run through the docket before we jump into it, Corinne, as we've done in the last

few of these newsy episodes, a lot of free agency news happening in trail running right

now, including some announcements that have

happened this week, maybe some that even include somebody joining me here on the couch,

a big announcement that happened today as well. And then we'll sort of pivot and talk about
