I'm currently recording this introduction at home, and I have a sort of attic loft window, which is currently being hammered by the rain. Apologies to anyone who can hear that, or maybe you're enjoying enjoying it maybe it adds a atmospheric dimension to the

listening experience of the tifo football podcast today i was joined by alix stewart and we did

something slightly different uh we spent the whole episode responding to your comments lots lots that

you'd left on youtube not all of them obviously many Not all of them, obviously. Many of them are filled

with hate. Many, many of them are filled with hate. But there were some interesting ones,

and we responded to things like, you know, suggestions for videos, particular questions about

why we'd done something in a certain video or why we hadn't done something in a particular

video. Most of them relate to tactics. So this episode actually isn't that dissimilar to most of the tactics episodes that we record. So if you're interested to hear it, please listen on. If not, abandon ship now. Either way, that's okay with me. One thing I'd like to address before we get started with the podcast is the Defo Tactics podcast, which a couple of people have asked me about.

Understandably, we mentioned it as an idea a few months ago.

We still really like the idea.

We're just working out logistically how to do it.

And at the moment, our ideas run along the lines of having some consistency in each episode of the series.

So we're thinking that we would like to talk about the Premier League, for example,

from a tactical point of view every week, maybe for 20 or 30 minutes,

and then potentially bookend those episodes with little featured sections about teams from

the rest of the world, because we don't want to be totally anglo-centric.

One thing that I'm slightly unsure of how to proceed with, and therefore I thought I would

ask for your feedback, if you would like to get in touch and let us know what you think about

this, is whether listeners would prefer that the episodes worked in such a way that the first

half was about the Premier League every week, and then the second half of the podcast had that featured section of a team around the world or would listeners

prefer that the shows were split into two so that they might come out twice a week and that

there would be one half an hour podcast about the Premier League and another separate podcast
