Hello my friends welcome back to The Morning Mindset. I hope you're ready to get your

mind aligned with the truth of God's word. If you're with us for the first time, my name

is Carrie Green. I am so happy that you joined us. The Morning Mindset is a broadcast

that's going out all over the world. I wanted to make you aware of some of the places

that people are listening. There are people in Australia, in New Zealand, in Papua New

Guinea, in Indonesia, in the Philippines, in Vanawatu. I mean, those are all Pacific

Island kind of regions. And friends, it's just amazing to me what the Lord is doing in

those areas of the world and in others due to The Morning Mindset. If you're listening

from one of those places, welcome. Today we're going to be looking at Proverbs chapter 22

verse number 28. And this is a principle that I think we in our day could do very well

to think about. It says, do not remove the ancient landmark which your fathers have

set. That's a very simple statement but what does it really mean? Well this ancient landmark

that Solomon is referring to was a way that they would establish property rights. They

would set up markers of some sort or not exactly sure what form they took. Maybe they

were mounds of stone. Maybe they were signposts. Things like that that distinguished the boundary

between two properties. And one person's domain compared to another person's domain. And

what Solomon is telling us here is that we are not to make any kind of change to things

like that on our own accord. If things like that need to happen, of course, they're usually

legal ways to go about doing it. But what he's saying is don't take the initiative to make changes

on things like that all by yourself. Now I believe this has more to do than with just property

rights and with boundaries of properties. What this is referring to on a broader scale is the wisdom

of those from the past. And the lessons we can learn from what they have established.
