I'm thankful that you are ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God's Word.

And I want to ask you to do something real quickly.

I want you to think about a person you know or a person in your life

who has at one time pursued the Lord with diligence.

But seems to have slacked off of it, seems to have stepped away from a regular time of communion with God.

All right today, let's look at Proverbs chapter 22 verse number 29.

It says, do you see a man who excels in his work?

He will stand before kings.

He will not stand before unknown men.

Now the imagery that I have in my mind as I read this is a craftsman of some sort.

Say he's a metal worker or a goldsmith or perhaps one who works with leather

and just does an incredible job at making artistic, beautiful, functional things

that are just a wonder to behold because of the craftsmanship that is built into that item.

That sort of a thing is something that we may or may not see in our day.

I mean, there are wonders to be sure.
