So we've begun a series for this month on hearing the voice of God.

And I know it's a tricky, tricky subject because sometimes it's hard to distinguish God's voice from our own voices, from the voices of other

people, from the voices the world around us. And I have a sense that as confused as we are as human beings,

that if God was the singular voice in the universe speaking to us,

we'd still have a hard time hearing it.

We still have a hard time knowing, is that God really speaking to me?

But unfortunately, there is not a singular voice that speaks to us.

Our life is filled with an endless array of voices that come at us and come to us and come through us and come from us.
