Good evening.

So tonight I'd like to share with you a little bit,

although I'd like to start off a little bit from a Suta, the Mahakosanga Suta.

And it's very, I don't think it's kind of interesting and a little bit fun,

that the Buddha, he's staying in this, maybe I should say,

most Suta's begin by saying like, where is the Buddha?

They give like a location.

I shouldn't say most, a certain genre of Suta's do.

And he's staying in the Gosanga, which is a Saul forest park with Saul trees.

And my understanding is Saul trees are these really majestic, giant, beautiful trees.

Maybe like how we might think of Redwood trees.

You know, they have this certain majesty when you're amongst them.

And so the Buddha is staying there, and there's a number of his senior monastics

who are also staying there during the day.

They go off and meditate, which is not so uncommon.

So they go off to their own different places in this Saul forest, or these Saul woods.

And then at the end of the day, or like late afternoon, early evening,

one of these monastics, Mahamogalana, he goes to somebody else, Mahakasapa,

and says, this is Dayana's rendition, hey, let's go here, sorry, but I give a talk.

So they're going to go to one of their friends, another one of their senior monastics, to go give a dermatoc.
