Last month, I got to go on a mission trip to Eastern Europe with representatives from every single campus in our church. And I'll tell you why we're doing

it because we're really excited about it. If you remember, one of our move initiatives

involves sending a really large number of you on short-term mission trips over the

next several years. So this trip was helping lay the groundwork for that. We visited a partner

of ours named Josiah Venture, who started working in Eastern Europe when communism fell there

a couple decades ago, and they recognized the window of opportunity in these formerly

communist countries. And the reason we were all over there is because we want to mobilize

you and not just short-term trips. We went to college students as summer interns there in years

to come. And so for the first couple days, we were all together in one location.

We heard about the vision of this ministry, their history, the great need and opportunity that exists in Eastern Europe.

Then we all split up and people from each campus went to the one country that each campus

is going to be paired with.
