1:14.4	I'm actually recording this from bed. It's my first episode. I'm recording at home and not
1:20.3	in the studio. It's Sony. I got my microphone. I got my headphones. And I have a bunch of books
1:27.9	and research printed out around me about ethical non-monogamy. So today, we are going to be talking
1:36.7	about ethical non-monogamy, something I've heard about through the years, but honestly,
1:44.4	up until I read this essay in the Paris Review that I'm going to be talking about by Jean Garnett,
1:52.0	entitled Seedons from an Open Marriage. I don't know. I hadn't really considered it or thought about
1:58.0	it as a real thing or got behind the philosophy behind it and thought about why people are so
2:05.3	interested in it. So leading up to this episode, I learned that there's a lot of information,
2:13.1	not only on non-ethical non-monogamy, but also on polyamory. And there's tons of literature.
2:20.9	Right now, I have the ethical slet next to me and polysecure, which were two that were recommended
2:27.9	to me. Polysecure merges attachment style with ethical non-monogamy. And the ethical slet turns out
2:34.7	to be basically the Bible to ethical monogamy. And I've really enjoyed it so far. I'm on page 50.
2:42.9	So today, we're going to talk about this essay that I think brings up a couple different points.
