A way to think about it is fires coming inevitably to a landscape near you.

How do you want it to come?

Do you want it knead it out in clever doses or do you want it belching in unbridled hot fires that lay in smoke for a month?

So to me it's showing the value of that patchwork, connecting it to habitats, showing

the relationship of good fire to that landscape, how good fire creates those patterns and

maintains them, and then how can we invite good fire.

If you stop and think about it, there's parts to the climate story that are difficult to change,

but there are other parts where it's vulnerable to

change and so that story unpacking that is an important thing. It's not an

ecosystem service for people it's a human service to the ecosystem. A multi-generational
