I spent the day talking to two friends who are Republicans. These are sick people. They really are.

I'm not trying to be glib here. I say this all the time time there are a lot of Americans with unresolved

trauma they refuse to deal with it and they have this realization one day they say I'm not sick I'm a Republican the entire

Republican Party is a repository for mental defects and I'm going to prove it on today's show. This is the mop up for

defective, the head of the American Conservative Union, which hosts CPAC,

Matt Schlap.

He announced on Wednesday that the male campaign worker for Herschel Walker who filed a civil lawsuit accusing

Schlap of sexually assaulting him had dropped the case.

Now it turns out Schlap was not telling the truth. The Daily Beast, which has been on top of this like Matt Schlepp and a young male Republican, reports that Schlap's accuser, Carlton Huffman, agreed to a nearly half a million dollar settlement.

According to reporting by CNN, Huffman agreed to issue the following statement this week,

which read, quote, the claims made in my lawsuits were the result of a complete misunderstanding.

Uh-huh. He goes on to say, and I regret that the lawsuit caused pain to the

Schlap family, neither the Schlaps nor the American Conservative Union paid me

anything to dismiss my claims against them."

Well, technically that's kind of true,

because the money came from an insurance policy.

When contacted by CNN, Carlton Huffman said, quote, I am only legally allowed to say five

words and that is, quote, we have resolved our differences. Well well I think you said ten words there

Carlton you're only allowed to say five words that's more than you're only allowed to

say we have resolved our differences those are, he goes on to say,
