Just when you thought the waters had calmed down on the Kyrie Irving front... they are once again churning, and churning hard. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania and others, Irving has asked to be traded ahead of next week's trade deadline. Or, he says, he won't be resigning with the Nets this offseason, and they'll be left with nothing. So naturally, attention has quickly turned to the Lakers, who are hoping to make improvements in this year's team, have a couple first round picks to offer, and have (because, well, everything) frequently been linked to Irving going back to last summer.
