wave at the US F1 Grand Prix back in 2022, people thought Apple might be angling

for some sort of Formula One broadcast something. When word hit of Apple making the Brad Pitt

Blockbuster F1, the movie, people thought for sure that Apple would angle for some sort of Formula One

broadcast something.

Now a piece from Business Insider says the powers that be behind Formula One racing

seem to be leaning Apple's way for some sort of Formula One broadcast something.

Of course, the gobs of money do help.

According to Business Insider, Apple has submitted a bid worth at least $150 million a year

to stream the races starting in 2026.

That is not quite double the $85 million a year ESPN is thought to be spending.

Sources tell Business Insider that ESPN is not going to try to match or beat the huge amount
