0:56.0	iPhone by itself caused quite the shift for Japan in the first quarter of this year.
1:02.1	That is the word from counterpoint research.
1:05.8	According to the market tracker, smartphone sales in Japan were up an anomalous 31% in the March quarter versus the same
1:13.5	quarter a year earlier. Counterpoint says 90% of that 31% was thanks to iPhone. No other OEM recorded
1:24.7	shipment growth of more than half a million units during the same period,
1:28.3	according to the firm, underscoring Apple's central role in the current market expansion.
1:35.6	What made iPhone jump? By counterpoint count, it was iPhone 16E. According to the release in the
