Welcome to relatable today. We are going to start a series that I am really excited about. I had

0:07.6

a ton of fun preparing for this episode. Some of you have asked me to do this before and I just

0:12.2

thought that it was a great idea. So what we are going to do, I don't know if this is going to be a

0:16.7

series that is every week in a row or if I'm going to kind of spread it out, it might be good to

0:22.0

spread it out so you guys don't get worn out by this. But I am going to take a commonly used and

0:28.1

commonly misused verse and talk about what it actually means. What is the real context of this

0:36.0

verse? What does it tell us about God and how are we supposed to apply it to our lives? Today we

0:43.2

are going to talk about Psalm 37.4 which is the light yourself in the Lord and he will give you

0:49.6

the desires of your heart. This is a very popular verse in future episodes. We will talk about

0:55.5

Philippians 413. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Jeremiah 29 and 11. I know

1:01.0

the plant I have for you. Matthew 7.1. Don't judge. Let's you be judged. Any other verses that you

1:06.6

guys would like me to approach that you see misused. Pervasively not just a one-off. I'm happy to

1:14.3

address those as well. I think even those of you who might anticipate what I am going to say or

1:20.6

who know the proper study of these verses. I still think that you will enjoy these episodes. And

1:26.9

as always, if you've got something to add or even something that you disagree with in what I say,

1:32.3

please feel free to reach out to me and let me know. I love learning with you guys. So like I said,

1:37.0

I am really excited about this. I had a whole lot of fun preparing it. It took me a long time and

1:42.4

I could really probably talk about this for a lot longer than I'm going to today because there's

1:46.6

just so much here and so much to talk about. But before we get into all of it, I do want to say

1:52.4

that we have all misinterpreted verses at one point in our walk. I have never met someone who had a

1:59.1

full and flawless theological understanding as soon as they got saved. We have all had bad theology

2:05.5

at some point in our lives. I was actually thinking about this because I know I mentioned this the
