Hey, everybody. So we just wrapped up season four of Instrumental, but we wanted to take some time to look back at some of our favorite slash most popular episodes.

Yeah, well, I mean, we've had four seasons since 2020 began.

And so many of you joined us later in the journey, and you might have missed some really good content

that we had at the beginning. And here's the deal. Like when we started, COVID was in full

kind of shutdown mode. Like people had stopped commuting. And I'm assuming there's quite a few of you

out there who actually began commuting and listening to podcasts again.

And so we just wanted to drop some of these episodes straight into your feed so that you could hear with as little friction as possible.

All right, instrumental rerun guest number one is Andrew Peterson.

We figured we're right at the top of December. This would be a really great time to revisit

the guy who wrote an entire album based on the Christmas narrative and actually

the biblical narrative that leads to the Christmas narrative. So Andrew is about to hit the road

for his show called The Hold the Lamb of God. And if you haven't heard it, you should totally

listen to it. It's amazing.

Right after you listen to this episode. Also, since we release this episode of the podcast,

originally, Andrew has published a new book called The God of the Garden. And it is so lovely.

I'm reading it right now. One other quick thought about our conversation with Andrew is that we were

talking to him remotely and he was in his little writing house that he has off of his property. And the

windows were open. It was spring in Nashville. And so you can hear like birds chirping. And then halfway

through our conversation, Andrew's wife, Jamie, came into the writing house
