will be five minutes well spent. Hi there, and welcome to the Friday five, five random things

to help put tools in our hands, give us some steps we can use in our daily life, and sometimes

just fun lists in general, to break it up from what we do here all week.

It also happens to be our last show in the month-long shows about parenting, and I hope it's

been helpful to you. So today, as we wrap up this week about letting go, I want to give us five

quick helps in letting go of our kids as we launch them into this world. Our guest, Krista Gilbert,

So I endorse this book, Give Them Wings, and it's such an important resource.

We will link again in the show notes today, but I want to quickly give five helps for letting

go when it's time with your kids.

Number one, let them ask questions even if they step on your toes.

I think this is super important, and we need to become more and more a safe place for them to flesh out their thoughts

and ideas even if we're a little freaked out by them to be honest. If they go to a secular

college, their professors will absolutely not all be believers. In fact, many of them won't be

and they'll likely teach them some things that goes against the faith that has been taught
