The real thing that I want to talk about with my mom is that she was visiting us in our country house this weekend.

Uh-huh.

And she's not a fan of the country.

She will complain about everything from the winding roads to it getting really dark at night, that there aren't many streetlights out there.

Sure.

And so I thought, well, why don't I do a new segment called my mom in the country in the dark?

It has a ring to it.

And so when it got late at night, I had my whole microphone and recording set up.

And I went into the living room and I said, hey, mom, would you please join me for a segment?

And what I told her was I wanted to interview her, slowly lord her outside, as you'll hear in this tape here.

And I set up a Bluetooth speaker off in the distance ahead of time so that as we were talking for this quote interview,

she would start to hear animal sounds out in the pitch black dark night.
