Welcome to the Jesus Image Podcast.

Wonderful Holy Spirit, teach us your word, run us through, fill us with holy fire,

and manifest your glory and presence here as your word goes forth, confirm it with signs and wonders,

bring great glory to Jesus and deliver

people from darkness and convey them into the light, the kingdom of your son. We thank you in advance.

Church, I said, we thank him in advance for all you will do because of the preaching of your word.

In Jonah 3, verse 5,

the scripture says,

So the people of Nineveh believed God,

proclaimed a fast, put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.

And then word came to the king of Nineveh, verse six.

And he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes.

And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything.

Do not let them eat or drink water, but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth

and cry mightily to God, yes, let everyone turn from his evil way,

and from the violence that is in his hands.

Who can tell if God will turn and relent and turn away from his fierce anger

so that we may not perish?

Then God saw their works or their actions, that they turned from their evil or repented, and God relented from the

disaster that he said would bring upon them. They said he would bring upon them, and he did not

do it. So I mentioned many examples over the last three weeks, and I think it's amazing other churches
