My name's Haley.

I grew up in South Africa, that's the accent.

On purpose will say process instead of process.

I'll say heart instead of heart,

because all of you will think I'm warm.

You can laugh.

It's okay.

But the accent is South African.

I grew up in South Africa.

I was a pastor's kid.

My dad wasn't a senior pastor,

but my parents were both lay preachers.

My mom was a worship pastor of our church,

Methodist Church, lots of liturgy singing the benediction

today. I sang it every Sunday. And I'm so grateful for my heritage in the Lord. I got saved

when I was three years old listening to Salty the Singing songbook. I remember I was lying on my mom's

wicker furniture. It was in there. And it came back in just a few years ago.

And I was by myself and Salty was crying.

And I remember feeling really bothered that Salty was crying.

And he said, you can sing and sing until you're blue in the face.

But if it's not from your heart, it's not praise.
