You're driving me crazy! What is wrong with you? You're so selfish!

The way we talk to our kids becomes the way they talk to themselves. And so it's really

important from a young age to affirm that our kids are enough, that they are lovable,

and that they are good inside.

This week I'm talking to actors, authors, and activists, Jasmine Simon and Doole Hill,

about their new children's book, Repeat After Me, and the importance of affirmations and

positive self-talk.

When I had Kennedy, I had read somewhere that when you read affirmations in first person,

that you can rewire your brain. And I thought, well, it didn't happen for me, but it can

most certainly happen for her.
