A summary or an overview of the different attachment tools that address

the tendencies that we have in relationships with others and also just are basic expectations of others that are set very early on in life and can be the most difficult behaviors to address because they're stored in an unconscious area of the brain.

So we'll talk about what these patterns are.

And we'll talk about how to the five ways that I've been focusing on to address attachment disturbances and adults.

So I just want to say that when you hear, I'm going to give a brief overview of attachment styles and don't pathologize yourself for a number of reasons.

One, everybody has multiple attachment styles.

You can have an attachment, an inner working model

that governs how you act in relationships, another for core friends, even another

attachment style for the way we function in workplaces and so forth and I've given talks on those

different patterns and also they are to a certain degree elastic given whether we are to point our life where we feel safe in a relationship or not.

And finally, as you'll see even though for most people their attachment styles do not change

throughout the course of one's life you can actually intercede and address attachment wounds and

actually steer yourself to a more satisfactory set of perceptions, inclinations, behaviors in relationships.

So we'll talk about how meaningful change happens.

So just to give a quick overview, there's four, generally from most clinicians agree there's for basic attachment styles.

The first is secure and the claim is always that 50% half of the population is secure and I always feel compelled to know that I never meet any of these people.
