Hello from Washington. I'm Chuck Todd, and this is the Chuck Todd cast. My guest today is Congressman Rokhan.

Since 2017, he has represented in California's 17th district, home of Cupertino, Santa Clara, and other parts of Silicon Valley.

Basically about half of Silicon Valley is in his congressional

district. He's been one of the more active Democrats traveling the country talking with voters

about their economic views and what they want from Washington. He's been doing that for a few cycles,

not just this most recent one. Earlier this month, he published an op-ed in the Boston Globe,

calling for Democrats to talk more about

manufacturing and not just high-tech jobs. And while you might think, the Boston Globe, why would a Silicon

Valley member of Congress want an op-ed in the Boston Globe? Well, a lot of voters in New Hampshire

are part of that newspaper's market. And what's big with New Hampshire? Oh, right, presidential politics.

Anyway, you see where I'm going there.
