Welcome to the Rich Eisen podcast presented by Papa John's episode number five, an eclectic mix, a grab bag of guests to say the least.

Jared Allen, the rhinestone cowboy mullet flying quarterback killing, author, and pass sacker extraordinaire of the Minnesota Vikings,

will be joining us on this podcast, fresh off of the Vikings' disappointing Monday night loss

in the New Meadowlands in which Brett Favre did throw three touchdown passes,

including his 500th of his career. Two, yes, Randy Moss.

But the Vikings are now at 1 and 3 in staring into the 2010 abyss

with the Dallas Cowboys equally at 1 and 3 coming into their house on Sunday

in what seems to be a do-or-die contest for both teams who last met in the Metrodome back in January

in the NFC divisional round.

And now here they are in desperation mode in the regular season in October of 2010, facing one another.

We'll talk about all of this, including what's going on with Brett Farv, with Jared Allen here on the podcast.

That also includes Ice Cube in studio.

The big-time Raider fan will come in here with chest puffed out, no doubt.

Talking about how the Raiders snapped a 13-game losing streak against the San Diego Chargers,

who fell, by the way, to 0-2 in division,

just like the Indianapolis Colts?

Who would have thought that both of those two contending teams for the Super Bowl prior to the season

would be five games into the season at 0-2 in division?

Now, the Colts did survive against the Kansas City Chiefs this past week to improve to

3 and 2, but the charges fell to 2 and 3, which the Raiders now are, and so are the Denver

Broncos.

The only team above 500 in the AFC West are the Kansas City Chiefs at 3-1, so they still, even though
