Welcome to another special late-week edition of the Rich Eisen podcast presented by Papa Johns,

although if we keep doing this, it won't be any more special than anything else,

because this is the second straight week.

We've done a late-week podcast.

Last week we did a Mossa Paloosa special because of the

Randy Moss trade. This week, we're going to try and answer the most thorny question in the National

Football League right now. What is wrong with the one in three Dallas Cowboys? Now, we could focus on

the redemption that this weekend represents for a lot of teams entering week six. For instance,

the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs have the opportunity to become the fifth and sixth teams since 1990 to start a season four and one after starting

the previous season, 0 and 5.

We could also talk about the fact that so far already this year that the Rams and Buccaneers have

already matched or exceeded their 09 win totals, and Detroit, Kansas City, and Washington

can do that this weekend.

We could talk about redemption, but that's be honest, that's not as sexy in the national

football league.

I mean, when there's a team like the Dallas Cowboys on the ropes,

that's a big-time story in the 2010 season.

Yes, the debacle on Dallas is going to generate more interest than the improvement of all those teams that you mentioned.

And I figured why not on this special podcast, which again, isn't really so special if I keep doing it every week.
