well. He agreed to come to the board podcast despite some of my pretty aggressive critiques of him in the past so we

give him credit for that this conversation gets a little spicy it gets little spicy

And secondly on the news front we talked about this very briefly with Congressman Phillips, but New York

three there was a special election last night. The Democrat Tom Swazi won in a

district that had been trending more Republican, but it was a district that Joe

Biden won. My friend Liz Smith, it was a district that Joe Biden won.

My friend Liz Smith, who was a consultant on that race,

sent a tweet thread that kind of summed it up,

and I thought you guys might be interested

in hearing what her takes were on why the Dems did well last night.

She said Tom Swazi went into the race with his own branch.

He's been a mayor, county exacting congressman that blunted the Republican attacks

against him as an aspiring squad member.

He did well with Dems, held his own with Indies, and attracted

a meaningful number of GOP votes. This is all very useful for Joe Biden. Liz goes on. That matters in a place like Long Island, which was hit hard by the red wave post 2020 and
